Recruitment rallies will be conducted for selection of candidates for filling up of  145 posts of Constables in Assam Industrial Security Force from SPOs (Special Police Officers) those who worked in Dhubri and BTAD during  2012 ethnic problem and the SPOs who were deployed in the districts of Bongaigaon, Chirang, Baksa and N.C. Hills for National Highways and Railways line security during militancy in the Pay Band-II, i.e Rs14,000-49000/, with Grade pay of  5600 and other admissible allowances. The date and venue of Physical Standard Test / Physical Efficiency Test and Written Test would be intimated in due course of time through the Assam Police website (, SMS and e-mail. Offline applications will be received with effect from 16-12-2017 in the Office of the Chairman State Level Police Recruitment Board, Rehabari, Guwahati-08 (APHC Building). The offline format of application will be available on the Assam Police website w.e.f. 14-12-2017. The applications will be digital is ed in presence of the candidate and payment will be made online only. No cash payment will be accepted. The last date for receipt of applications will be 26-12-2017 (midnight).

Selection procedure for Assam Police Recruitment 2017-2018

1. Quantitative Aptitude
1. The questions in the Quantitative Aptitude section of the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam will be designed to test the candidate’s knowledge on the use of numbers and numerical sense.
2. Candidates should practice questions from topics such as computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions, relationship, between the numbers, percentage, ratio and proportion, square roots, average, interest, profit and loss, discounts, partnership, mixtures and allegation etc.
3. Candidates should revise all the basic mathematics formula to strengthen their quantitative aptitude section.

1. Reasoning part is a very important aspect of this exam.
2. This section is very scoring so candidates need to focus more on this part.
3. Most of the questions in this sections are from coding-decoding, Statement & Conclusion, Series, Seating Arrangements.
4. This part is very useful because questions asked is less time taking & you can use your saved time for quantitative aptitude & other parts.
3. General Awareness
1. The section of General Awareness in the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam is one of the easiest sections where the candidates can secure maximum marks if they have regular and thorough practice.
2. As per the SSC CHSL preparation tips for General Awareness, candidates should stay updated with the recent events of national and international importance along with his/her surroundings.
3. Questions under this section will be designed to test the candidates about recent events around and its application to the society.
